Dispute at Maryland Restaurant Leads to Multiple Shootings

SILVER SPRING, MD – A heated dispute at the Sole D’Italia Restaurant escalated to gunfire early Thursday morning, leaving four people shot and one with minor injuries. The restaurant is located in the Layhill Shopping Center on the 14300 block of Layhill Road, Montgomery County.

The incident happened after an incident inside Sole D’Italia restaurant.

The altercation began inside the restaurant and subsequently moved to the parking lot where shots were fired. While one individual sustained serious injuries, they are not considered life-threatening. Three other victims suffered less severe gunshot wounds, and another individual sustained minor injuries unrelated to gunfire.

No suspect information has been released as of now. The Montgomery County Police Department continues to investigate, with plans to review surveillance footage in the area.
