Syracuse Firefighters and Animal Cruelty Officers Unite to Save Ducklings Trapped in Sewer

by Jessica Woods

SYRACUSE, NY – Earlier today, a heartwarming team effort took place outside Destiny USA, as Syracuse Firefighters came to the aid of Animal Cruelty Officers to rescue a group of ducklings that had accidentally fallen into a sewer grate in a parking lot.

Responding to the distress call, the firefighters worked together to lift the grate, creating a pathway for the trapped ducklings.

Sergeant Todd Cramer used a net to scoop up the stranded ducklings one by one.

In a successful and heartening conclusion, the mother duck was joyously reunited with her ducklings.

The joint efforts of the Syracuse Firefighters and Animal Cruelty Officers ended with the safe rescue and return of the duck family to their natural habitat.
