ALEXANDRIA, VA – A shooting incident in the 5500 block of Holmes Run Parkway has resulted in one serious injury and a significant police response.
The Alexandria Police Department confirmed the situation through a social media notification. Officers are currently on the scene and have cordoned off the area to conduct an investigation. One individual has been seriously injured and is receiving medical treatment.
Authorities are urging residents and commuters to avoid the area while the investigation is ongoing. No suspects have been identified or apprehended at this time.
