NYPD Seeks Public Assistance to Locate Missing 74-Year-Old Brooklyn Man

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is asking for the public’s help in finding a 74-year-old man who has been reported missing since Friday, October 13, 2023. Jose Santiago resides in Brooklyn, within the jurisdiction of the 75th Precinct.

According to police reports, Santiago was last seen around 2:00 p.m. on Friday at his residence, located at 2772 Pitkin Avenue. He is described as a 6-foot-1-inch tall Hispanic male, weighing approximately 150 pounds. Santiago has a medium complexion and a thin build, along with gray hair and brown eyes.

At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue Yankees baseball hat, a blue t-shirt, blue thermal pants, and dark blue FILA sneakers. A photo of Santiago has been released by the NYPD to aid in his identification.

The NYPD is urging anyone with information regarding Santiago’s whereabouts to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline.
