Man Hospitalized After Shooting in Hartford

HARTFORD, CT — A shooting incident on Tuesday in Hartford led to a man in his 40s being hospitalized.

The Hartford Police Department responded to 101 Irving Street at 1:03 p.m. following reports of a person shot.

Upon arrival, officers located the victim and transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The man was found to be alert and conscious by the responding officers. The incident is currently under investigation by the Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions.
