Midland Park Man Charged with Sexual Assault and Child Endangerment

MIDLAND PARK, NJ – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella and Midland Park Police Chief Michael Powderley have announced the arrest of Luis Saul Yanez, a 29-year-old sign and graphic installer from Midland Park, on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The arrest on Monday, followed an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Midland Park Police Department.

On Tuesday, September 26, local authorities were alerted to an alleged sexual assault of a juvenile in Midland Park.

Investigation revealed that Yanez had sexually assaulted the child on one occasion. He is now charged with second-degree sexual assault by contact and endangering the welfare of a child.

Yanez is currently held at the Bergen County Jail pending his court appearance.
