Man Who Shot Girlfriend in Severn Found Dead with Self-Inflicted Gunshot Wound

SEVERN, MD – A shooting incident occurred on Saturday, at approximately 10:20 AM in the 1800 block of Blue Jay Court, Severn.

Western District officers, upon arrival, discovered a 55-year-old female victim who reported being shot by her former boyfriend.

The suspect, identified as Kenneth Saulsbury, 59, of Severn, was later found inside the residence, deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The female victim, sustaining non-life-threatening injuries, was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The Western District Police are further investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident.
