New Jersey Cop Recognized After Solving Two Child Hit and Run Cases

PATERSON, NJ – Officer Nelson Paez has been honored as the March Officer of the Month by the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit for his exemplary investigative work. In March, Officer Paez cracked a challenging case involving a hit-and-run that severely injured a young girl. His thorough investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspect linked to this distressing incident.

Furthermore, Officer Paez also resolved a separate hit-and-run case from February, which resulted in another young female being injured. His dedication and skillful detective work have resulted in two suspects being charged for their crimes against children on Paterson’s streets.
