The SUV, bearing New Jersey license plate E86SBY, was stolen from the parking lot of a CVS in Florham Park. The vehicle’s last known location was tracked to 84 Avenue C in Newark at around 6:09 p.m., but when police arrived, both the vehicle and dog were gone. Investigators say the car’s GPS system was disabled shortly after.

Owners Jacklyn and Brett are asking anyone in the area to check doorbell or security cameras for sightings of the gray BMW X5. “We don’t care about the car—we just want our dog back,” Jacklyn said in a public post shared across social media Sunday night.
