Adopt Dexter: A sweet, loving pup looking for his forever family

JACKSON, NJ — Dexter, a 5-year-old Labrador/Pit Bull mix, is looking for his perfect match after returning to the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility through no fault of his own.

Described as a friendly and well-mannered companion, Dexter has passed all assessments and tested well with both dogs and cats. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Shelter staff recommend a home with children 12 and older.

Although adjusting to shelter life has been difficult for Dexter, volunteers say he quickly wins hearts with his affectionate nature.
