Allegheny County Police Arrest Driver Linked to Fatal Shooting

Stowe Township, PA – Allegheny County Police have made a second arrest in connection with a homicide in Stowe Township. At 5:28 pm on Wednesday, County 9-1-1 received a shooting report in the 800 block of Benwood Avenue. First responders discovered a 26-year-old male victim, identified as Michael Dean, dead in his residence. After finding video evidence, detectives determined that Cy-Miar Woods was responsible for the shooting.

Arrmon Hagans, 43, was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the homicide. Police believe Hagans was the driver of the vehicle from which one of the suspects fired a shot at Dean’s home. The firearm recovered during Hagans’ arrest matched the shell casing found at the scene following the homicide. Woods was apprehended by McKees Rocks Police on Friday, facing multiple charges, including criminal homicide.

County Police are now looking for one more suspect related to the homicide. Anyone with information is urged to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers can choose to remain anonymous.
