Allegheny County police investigate fatal shooting in McKees Rocks

McKEES ROCKS, PA — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday evening at the intersection of 2nd and Broadway Street.

Officers responded to the scene after County 9-1-1 was alerted to the incident at 9:21 p.m. First responders located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and are working to identify any suspects or motives.
