Allegheny County Police Investigate Fatal Shooting in McKeesport

MCKEESPORT, Pa. — The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred this morning in McKeesport. According to the department, County 9-1-1 received a call at 10:50 a.m. reporting a male down in the 500 block of Lysle Boulevard.

Upon arrival, first responders found an adult male lying in the roadway with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives have since begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The police are asking anyone with information related to the shooting to contact the County Police Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS. Callers may choose to remain anonymous.
