Armed suspect caught on cam robbing DC store at gunpoint

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A masked gunman made off with cash after robbing a business in Northwest D.C., and police are now asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect, whose image was captured on surveillance video.

The robbery occurred on Wednesday, December 11, just after 7:20 p.m. in the 2700 block of 14th Street NW. According to investigators, the suspect entered the establishment, displayed a handgun, and demanded money from the victim. The individual complied, and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency.

The suspect has not yet been identified, and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in the case.
