Homicide and road rage cases lead to arrests within hours in Baltimore County
Baltimore County, MD – Two men are behind bars without bond after Baltimore County detectives announced arrests in separate shooting incidents that unfolded Thursday and Friday in Pikesville and Parkville. One case ended in a fatality, while the other stemmed from an alleged road rage confrontation.
Officers responding Thursday morning to the 8300 block of Scotts Level Road in Pikesville found 43-year-old Tyrone Luster suffering from a gunshot wound outside a residence. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives have charged 44-year-old Michael Eggleston with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting. Police confirmed Eggleston is being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

Road rage shooting leads to attempted murder charges
In a separate incident Friday morning, detectives with the department’s Violent Crimes Unit arrested 36-year-old Salaahud Punnette following a shooting tied to a road rage encounter near Perring Parkway and Putty Hill Avenue in Parkville.
“Detectives with the Baltimore County Police Department have charged two suspects in connection with separate shooting incidents that occurred Thursday and Friday morning in Pikesville and Parkville,” police stated.
Punnette faces charges including attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and multiple firearms offenses. He is also being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
