BALTIMORE, Md. – A 32-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and multiple gun offenses following an investigation into an August shooting that wounded a man in Baltimore, police said.
Malik Robinson was arrested without incident Sept. 1 in the 600 block of East 28th Street, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The arrest stems from an Aug. 17 shooting investigation involving a 35-year-old victim who was hospitalized in stable condition.

Police Find 35-Year-Old Man Shot in Baltimore
The investigation began at approximately 1:37 p.m. Aug. 17 when officers responded to the 600 block of East 34th Street for a report involving the discharge of a firearm.
“Upon officers’ arrival at the location, they located a 35-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body,” the Baltimore Police Department said.
The wounded man was taken to an area hospital and listed in stable condition.
Northern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation. Police have not released the victim’s identity or provided additional information about what allegedly led to the shooting.
Malik Robinson Arrested on Attempted Murder Charge
Detectives later identified Robinson in connection with the shooting, according to police.
“Robinson was arrested without incident on September 1, 2026, in the 600 block of East 28th Street,” the department said.
Robinson was taken to Central Booking, where police said he was charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree assault and multiple handgun violations.
Police have not released additional details about the evidence that led investigators to Robinson.
