BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police successfully apprehended a 32-year-old male suspect in possession of a loaded .45 caliber handgun. The arrest took place during an investigation of an armed individual on the 1000 block of Bethune Road, as reported by the Baltimore Police Department.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:53 p.m. on June 17, 2024. Officers, acting on reports of an armed person in the area, conducted a search that led to the discovery of the suspect and the firearm. The loaded handgun was seized without incident.

Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he was charged with offenses related to the possession and potential use of the handgun. This action is part of ongoing efforts by the Baltimore Police to address gun violence and maintain public safety in the community.
