Baltimore police ask public to ID man in homicide footage

BALTIMORE, MD — Detectives are requesting assistance in identifying individuals captured on video in connection with a December homicide in the city’s Southwest District.

On December 16 at approximately 6:06 p.m., 61-year-old Ricky Forehand was shot and killed in the 1200 block of West Baltimore Street. The Baltimore Police Department has released surveillance footage showing a person of interest near the scene.

Investigators have not disclosed the circumstances of the shooting or any possible motive. The individual’s identity remains unknown, and no arrests have been made.

The homicide remains under active investigation by the department’s Homicide Unit.
