BALTIMORE, MD — A 38-year-old man is recovering after being shot Monday night in the Eastern District, prompting an investigation by shooting detectives.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:16 p.m. on the 4500 block of Greenrose Lane. Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition and receiving treatment.

Eastern District shooting detectives have taken control of the investigation, though no details about a possible suspect or motive have been released.
