Daylight gunfire erupts in Baltimore leaving man wounded on city block
BALTIMORE, MD — A burst of gunfire in broad daylight left a man wounded in Baltimore’s Northwest District as detectives work to track down those responsible, officials said.
The shooting unfolded around 12:50 p.m. Wednesday in the 4100 block of Patterson Avenue, drawing a swift response from patrol officers.
When officers arrived, they found a 39-year-old man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics rushed the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is being treated for his injuries. Officials have not said whether any suspects have been identified or what may have led to the shooting.
