Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen Amato advises residents to be mindful of possible weekend winter storm

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ – Berkeley Township Mayor Carmen Amato said today residents in town should take notice of a possible weekend winter storm and to prepare accordingly beforehand.

“The effects of the anticipated winter storm for this Friday 1/28 thru Saturday 1/29 are still undetermined. We are watching the weather closely and will continue to update the community as the weather track becomes more finite. Either way Berkeley Twp. will be prepared to respond,” Amato said.

Amato said possible effects of this storm consist of the following:
-Heavy Rain/Wind
-Snow from several inches to 10”
-Moderate flooding along the coast

“Please continue to check the BTPD and TWP Facebook pages for updates. Please use to time make any preparations that you may require,” he added.
