Bethlehem Township man arrested after stabbing wife multiple times, killing her with steak knife in bathroom

BETHLEHEM TOWNSHIP, PA – A man has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide after police discovered his wife dead in their home during a welfare check, authorities said.

Bethlehem Township Police responded to a residence on 3rd Street on March 11 at approximately 8:30 a.m. after a family member expressed concern for the occupants. Upon arrival, officers encountered James Christopher Frank, who told them his wife, Deborah Glaser, was deceased in the bathroom.

Investigators found multiple stab wounds on Glaser and various cutting instruments, including knives, razor blades, and box cutters, as well as a hammer and a mallet.

Frank allegedly admitted to using a steak knife to cut her throat and later using a knife and hammer to puncture her chest and heart multiple times to ensure she was dead.

Frank was arraigned the same day and charged with criminal homicide. Authorities emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
