BOSTON — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing in South Boston that left one man with life-threatening injuries, according to the Boston Police Department.

On Saturday, August 17, at approximately 9:12 p.m., officers from District C-6 responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 1003 Massachusetts Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found an individual holding a man, later identified as Conrad Burnette, 62, of Milton, on the ground. Burnette was armed with a knife, which officers quickly disarmed before placing him in handcuffs.

Two male victims were discovered at the scene with stab wounds. Boston EMS provided immediate medical care, and both victims were transported to local hospitals. One victim sustained life-threatening injuries, while the other’s injuries were described as non-life-threatening. Due to the severity of the incident, Homicide Detectives were called to the scene.

Detectives recovered two knives from the area as part of their investigation. Burnette has been charged with two counts of Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon and is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
