Brick police honor Officer Sean Flynn as he retires after 22 years of service

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – The Brick Township Police Department celebrated the retirement of Officer Sean Flynn this week, recognizing his twenty-two years of dedicated service to the department and community.

Officer Flynn began his law enforcement career in the Patrol Division, later joining the Ocean County Narcotic Strike Force Team and the department’s Selective Enforcement Team.

He spent six years in the Community Policing Unit before concluding his service on the Midnight Patrol shift.

Throughout his career, Flynn also served twelve years on the Special Emergency Response Team and contributed his time and expertise as a member of both the Motorcycle Unit and the Honor Guard.

Distinguished service at home and abroad

Before joining the Brick Township Police Department, Flynn served in the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

Colleagues described him as a dependable and highly respected officer whose professionalism and commitment set an example for younger members of the force.
