Brick police investigate threat made by middle school student

BRICK TOWNSHIP, N.J. — Brick Township Police are investigating a report of threatening statements made by a student at Lake Riviera Middle School on the evening of September 5. Detectives, in collaboration with school officials, are actively addressing the situation.

At this time, authorities have not found any credible threat. However, the investigation remains ongoing.

Brick Police Chief David Forrester expressed his gratitude to the school administration and to those who reported the incident. “The safety and wellbeing of our students, staff, parents, and community remain our top priority,” Forrester said.
