CUMBERLAND, Md. — Cumberland Police arrested a woman on Friday after discovering she was wanted in Florida on drug trafficking charges.

Victoria Ruth King, 26, of Dundalk, Md., was apprehended in the 400 block of Virginia Avenue following a report of a suspicious person, according to a press release from the Cumberland Police Department. Police identified King and learned of an active bench warrant from Pinellas County, Fla., for failure to appear in court. The charges in Florida include trafficking fentanyl and grand theft.

During her arrest, officers also found King in possession of what they suspect to be heroin. She was taken to a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance.

King is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center as she awaits extradition to Florida.
