BRICK – Brick Mayor John G. Ducey and the Township Council awarded various grants on Feb. 9 to area social services agencies.
The Community Development Block Grants include $3,500 for transitional housing for battered women and their children and $4,000 to Ocean County Hunger Relief as part of its effort to provide emergency food assistance to people in need. Another $2,000 went to a local Boy Scout Troop.
