BRICK TOWNSHIP — Brick Township will close out its 30th annual SummerFest series on Thursday, July 31 with a high-energy showdown of music’s most iconic decades, followed by a fireworks display over the Metedeconk River.
This year, Mayor Lisa Crate and her team, as always, put on a great lineup of free concerts for the residents.
The finale event, presented by Pine Belt Cars, features The 80’s vs. 90’s Show at Windward Beach Park. The interactive concert will pit fan-favorite hits from both decades against each other, with the audience deciding which era comes out on top.
The concert will be followed by a fireworks show beginning shortly after the final song.
Guests are invited to arrive early, with the food court and Beer and Wine Garden opening around 5:30 p.m. A variety of food options will be available, and adults with valid ID can purchase beer and wine. Outside alcohol is not permitted, though coolers and personal food are allowed. All bags and coolers will be checked upon entry.
Free shuttle service begins at 5 p.m. from several area schools, including Drum Point Elementary, Veterans Memorial Middle, Midstreams Elementary, Lanes Mill Elementary, and Brick Township High School. Return service starts at 8 p.m. Parking at Windward Beach is limited and closes once full, making shuttle use the preferred option. Chairs and coolers are permitted on shuttle buses.
