Gun and chair attack rocks Bronx bodega as robbers strike overnight
Bronx, NY — A violent early-morning robbery inside a Bronx bodega left two workers injured after suspects used both a firearm and a chair to carry out the attack before fleeing with cash and phones.
The incident occurred around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday inside a store located at 3128 Villa Avenue in the confines of the 52nd Precinct. According to police, two unidentified individuals entered the location and displayed a firearm.
Authorities said one suspect struck a 27-year-old employee in the head with the gun, while the second suspect hit a 22-year-old employee in the head using a chair.
The suspects then took the victims’ cellphones and approximately $250 from the cash register before fleeing the scene.

The extent of the victims’ injuries has not been disclosed. No arrests have been made as police continue to search for the individuals involved.
