BRONX, NY – Police are searching for two suspects who robbed a 28-year-old food delivery worker in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon in front of 995 Simpson Street, authorities said.
According to the NYPD, the incident occurred around 3:25 p.m. when the victim was making a delivery in the Foxhurst section of the Bronx. Two unidentified men approached him, and one appeared to simulate a gun by keeping his hand inside his jacket pocket while threatening the victim. The second suspect then grabbed the food order from the victim and fled with his accomplice.
Investigators said no physical injuries were reported, but the pair escaped before officers from the 41st Precinct arrived at the scene. Police described the suspects only as “unknown individuals” and are reviewing nearby surveillance footage as part of the investigation.
