Bronx Man Shot and Killed Outside Evergreen Avenue Home

BRONX, N.Y. — A man was fatally shot early Saturday morning outside a residence on Evergreen Avenue, according to police.

Officers from the 43rd Precinct responded to a 911 call reporting an assault in progress at approximately 3:25 a.m. in front of 1186 Evergreen Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered an unidentified man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

Emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene and transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Jacobi. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

As of Saturday, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased.
