Brooklyn convenience store becomes the site of a $19K jackpot in Take 5 lottery drawing

BROOKLYN, NY — A lucky lottery player in Brooklyn struck gold in the Nov. 23 TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing, winning a top prize of $19,039 with a ticket sold at a local convenience store.

The winning ticket was purchased at Bayridge Quickstop, located at 9116 3rd Avenue in the Bay Ridge neighborhood. The store joins the list of New York retailers that have sold high-value tickets in the state lottery’s popular Take 5 game.

Take 5 numbers are drawn twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., from a pool of numbers ranging from one to 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The identity of the winner has not yet been revealed, and lottery officials continue to remind players to check their tickets carefully.
