BROOKLYN, NY – A Brooklyn lottery player struck it big in the March 5 TAKE 5 EVENING drawing, winning a top prize of $32,698.50.
The winning ticket was purchased at AKSHAR 18, a retailer located at 3917 18th Ave. in Brooklyn.
TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of one through 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
The New York Lottery remains North America’s largest and most profitable lottery, generating $3.8 billion in the 2023-2024 fiscal year to support public education in New York State.
