CROTON-ON-HUDSON, NY — A car fire occurred on Route 9 southbound in Croton-on-Hudson, just south of the pedestrian bridge, around 1:40 p.m. on Saturday.

The fire department reported that the fire started in the vehicle’s engine compartment but was quickly extinguished.

The incident caused no injuries, and the affected car was removed within an hour, ensuring traffic could return to normal. The response from the fire department prevented any further complications or injuries.
