Carjacking Suspect Apprehended After Fleeing to Howard County

BALTIMORE, MD – A carjacking incident in Baltimore led to the swift apprehension of a 30-year-old male suspect in Howard County. The incident unfolded around 3:24 p.m. Saturday afternoon on West Lanvale Street.

A woman reported being forcibly removed from her vehicle by an unidentified male, who then took off with her car. The chase extended into Howard County, where local law enforcement successfully located and arrested the suspect on Ridgeview Road.

The suspect is now facing carjacking among other charges, following his transport to the Central Booking Intake Facility. The D.C. Metro Police Department coordinated with Howard County Officers to pursue and arrest the suspect.
