BROOKLYN, NY – Police are searching for two teenage suspects wanted in connection with back-to-back robberies involving young victims in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.

Both incidents occurred Friday evening within the confines of the 63rd Precinct.

Around 6 p.m., an 11-year-old boy was walking in front of 1851 East 48th Street when two unidentified males approached him, demanded his belongings, and made verbal threats.

The suspects forcibly took the boy’s bookbag before fleeing north on Flatbush Avenue.

Second robbery minutes later on Flatbush Avenue

About 25 minutes later, the same two suspects allegedly targeted a 14-year-old boy in front of 1709 Flatbush Avenue.

Police said the pair pinned the victim against a gate, demanded his property, and forcibly removed his bookbag.

One suspect briefly took the boy’s headphones before returning them and fleeing north on Flatbush Avenue with his accomplice.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

NYPD releases images, seeks public’s help

Investigators describe both suspects as males between 16 and 18 years old.

The NYPD has released images of the individuals and is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying them.
