Churchton Man Arrested for Firing Gunshot During Argument

CHURCHTON, MARYLAND – A disturbance in Churchton led to the arrest of a 30-year-old man, identified as Brian Lee Lester, on Saturday afternoon. The incident, which occurred around 2:15 p.m. in the 5500 block of Deale Churchton Road, began as an argument between two neighbors.

During the altercation, Lester reportedly brandished a silver handgun and discharged a single shot into the air before retreating to his residence. Notably, Lester is prohibited from possessing firearms. Officers responding to the disorderly conduct call apprehended Lester without further incident.

Lester now faces charges related to the unlawful discharge of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
