JACKSON TOWNSHIP, NJ – Jackson Holdings and RG-2 Associates, approved for a 189 unit single-family home project by the township planning board in 2016.  The development is near the intersection of East Veterans Highway and Grawtown Road, behind a land buffer owned by the Township of Jackson along East Veterans Highway.  Last week, clear-cutting, visible through the trees from East Veterans highway began as developers move forward with their plan to build those homes.

The property has been subject to a decade long court battle between the landowners and the township.  The 109-acre tract of land is located in the township’s RG-2 zone designated for regional growth.
