CLEVELAND, OH — A Cleveland man is celebrating a $28,669 payday after matching three 777s on a $1 Rock’n 777’s EZPLAY® Progressive jackpot ticket purchased at McBill’s Beverage on East 185th Street.

The lucky win came on January 8 when the player scored the progressive jackpot, which had reached $28,669. The odds of winning the top prize on Rock’n 777’s are 1 in 60,000.

After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 26.75 percent, the player will receive $21,000.04.

EZPLAY games are instant terminal-based tickets that print with all necessary information included and offer a variety of themes with progressive jackpots that grow with each ticket sold.

The Ohio Lottery reports that McBill’s Beverage, the retailer that sold the winning ticket, will also receive a sales bonus.
