Columbus Man Arrested in Fatal Shooting of 22-Year-Old on Harshman Drive

Columbus, OH – A 20-year-old Columbus man, Talen Trago, has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Trayven Thompson, the Columbus Division of Police announced.

On May 25, 2025, at approximately 2:29 p.m., officers responded to a shooting report in the 3100 block of Harshman Drive. Upon arrival, they found Thompson suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene at 2:37 p.m.

Following an investigation, police issued a warrant for Trago’s arrest in connection with the homicide. On May 29, Trago turned himself in to authorities.

The Columbus Division of Police continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477), where anonymous tips can be submitted.
