Cranford Memorial Day Parade Cancelled Due to Weather, Indoor Service Scheduled

CRANFORD, NJ—The Cranford Police Department has announced the cancellation of today’s Memorial Day Parade due to inclement weather conditions, including the potential for lightning strikes. The decision was made by the Recreation and Parks Department to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.

As an alternative, a Memorial Day Indoor Service will be held at 10 AM at the Cranford Community Center. The community is invited to join in honoring those who have served.

Residents are urged to exercise caution while traveling today, particularly during any thunderstorm activity. The Cranford Police Department wishes everyone a safe Memorial Day.

For any emergencies, please contact 911, and for non-emergencies, the department can be reached at 908-272-2222. Further information can be obtained from Steve Robertazzi of the Recreation and Parks Department at s-robertazzi@cranfordnj.org or 908-709-7283.
