CUMBERLAND, Md. — A motor vehicle crash has closed Canal Parkway, with emergency crews currently on the scene, according to the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported Sunday afternoon, prompting officials to shut down the roadway and urge drivers to avoid the area.
“Roadway shut down. Please avoid the area and find an alternate route,” the department posted.
