Suspect in Fatal D.C. Stabbing Apprehended

Washington, D.C. – Authorities have captured a suspect in connection with a fatal stabbing incident in Northwest D.C.

On Friday, April 5, at 11:21 p.m., officers from the Fourth District responded to an emergency call at an apartment on the 1300 block of Peabody Street, Northwest. They discovered an adult male, 53-year-old Fasil Teklemariam, suffering from stab wounds. Despite immediate efforts by DC Fire and EMS, Teklemariam was pronounced dead at the scene.

Today, the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 19-year-old Audrey Miller in Hagerstown, MD. Miller, who has no fixed address, was wanted on charges of First Degree Murder while Armed-Felony Murder by the DC Superior Court. She is currently undergoing extradition to Washington, D.C.
