PALM BEACH, FL – Conservative commentator Dan Bongino lashed out at what he called “liberal media children” on social media Friday, rejecting requests from journalists seeking comment on President Donald Trump and warning reporters that he would not be cooperating with their coverage.
“Dear Liberal Media Children, yes, Daddy’s home now,” Bongino wrote in a fiery post shared to his X account. “I know that terrifies you as you claw at your own faces and pile up your feckless attack pieces, in anticipation of my show launch.”
Bongino, a former Secret Service agent and longtime Trump ally, said he has been bombarded with inquiries from reporters asking him to comment on recent stories related to the president and his associates. “Endlessly emailing me for comments about your personal, and administration, hit pieces is a waste of time,” he wrote. “I have less than zero interest in contributing to your fairytales.”
The conservative host, who is preparing to launch a new show following his departure from Fox News last year, ended his post with a blunt message: “In my kindest and most courteous Queens, NY voice I’ll ask that you respectfully go f#%^ yourselves and save the energy it takes you to thumb out an email to me.”
Bongino’s remarks come as media outlets continue to probe Trump’s political operations and relationships with former allies, including those with inside knowledge of his campaign and administration. The commentator’s rebuke quickly gained traction online, drawing applause from conservative followers who have long accused mainstream media of targeting right-leaning figures.
Neither Bongino nor his representatives provided additional comment about which outlets contacted him or the subjects of the inquiries.
