Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter, Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, has found herself in serious legal trouble following her recent arrest on multiple charges, including child neglect.

According to an exclusive report from In Touch, the 27-year-old was charged with four felonies, which included child neglect, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, and maintaining a drug trafficking place. She was also hit with two misdemeanors: disorderly conduct/domestic abuse and possession of prescription drugs obtained illegally.

The arrest stemmed from an alarming September 10th incident when police were called to Chelsea’s home after a 911 call was placed. The dispatcher reported hearing an argument and a female voice telling someone to “get the hell away” from her. When authorities arrived, they found Chelsea with visibly dilated pupils and were greeted with denial—she insisted nothing had occurred. However, further investigation revealed that Chelsea had gotten into a verbal altercation with her boyfriend, Jacob Nelund, who was inside the home with their 11-month-old child at the time.

Things took an even darker turn when police searched the home. Not only did they find Chelsea with a meth pipe in her possession, but the officers also discovered a disturbing environment filled with meth pipes, feces, and garbage. Jacob admitted to having used marijuana, and police noted his pupils were also dilated, showing no reaction to light. All this painted a grim picture of the conditions the child was living in.

The incident wasn’t the first of its kind either. Police had reportedly been to Chelsea’s home weeks prior for a similar issue, adding another layer of concern to the situation.

While Rosie O’Donnell has been outspoken in the past about her strained relationship with Chelsea, these new developments certainly put the family in a challenging spotlight. No public statement has yet been released by Rosie regarding her daughter’s arrest, but it’s clear that Chelsea’s legal troubles are mounting, with serious consequences ahead for both her and her child.
