Deadly shooting on 30th Street leaves young man killed as investigators search for answers
Washington, DC — A late-night burst of gunfire on a Southeast street Friday ended with a 25-year-old man dead, drawing a swift emergency response and launching a homicide investigation that remains unresolved as officials seek public help.
Officers were called to the 3000 block of 30th Street Southeast at about 8:34 p.m. Friday after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.
