Delaware Man Arrested for Seaford Shooting

SEAFORD, DE—Delaware State Police have arrested 20-year-old Lukas Morrison of Georgetown in connection with a shooting in Seaford that occurred last Wednesday evening. Morrison was apprehended following an investigation into the incident, which left a 15-year-old girl injured.

The shooting took place on May 29, 2024, at around 6:21 PM at a residence on the 26000 block of Kelly Circle. Upon arrival, troopers discovered that two suspects had fired several rounds at an occupied house, resulting in the teenage girl sustaining a gunshot wound to her foot. She was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Through subsequent investigative efforts, Lukas Morrison and Tyler Morrison were identified as suspects. Lukas was arrested on May 31, 2024, at Troop 4 and is currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $130,000 cash bond. Authorities are still actively searching for Tyler Morrison.

Lukas Morrison faces several charges in connection with the shooting and has been arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2. The Delaware State Police are continuing their investigation and urge anyone with information to come forward.
