WILMINGTON, DE — Delaware State Police arrested 41-year-old Zachary Orr of New Castle for multiple felony offenses today following a pursuit that started around 6:56 a.m. A trooper patrolling the area near Kirkwood Highway and Harmony Road observed Orr riding a motorcycle at a high rate of speed and committing several traffic violations. When the trooper attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Orr ignored the signal and fled.
The trooper later found Orr in the parking lot of Delaware Park Casino and Racing. Despite giving verbal commands, Orr fled again on his motorcycle. The chase continued until Orr lost control of the motorcycle and slid on the ground. He was taken into custody without incident.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the case.
