QUEENS, NY – A food delivery worker was robbed at gunpoint Monday evening in front of 41-13 12th Street, where police say an armed suspect targeted the victim during a delivery and fled on the worker’s two-wheeled vehicle.
The NYPD reported that the incident occurred around 7:10 p.m. when the 26-year-old victim was approached by an unidentified man while completing a food order. The suspect displayed a firearm, took the victim’s wallet, and then rode away northbound on 12th Street using the stolen vehicle.
Detectives from the 114th Precinct are leading the investigation and have released details in hopes of identifying the suspect. No injuries were reported during the robbery, and police have not yet confirmed if surveillance footage captured the incident.
