Did You Lose an Iguana? Because the Cops Just Found One

ABSECON, NJ – An adventurous iguana took a detour on Upland Avenue, leaving residents and the Absecon Police Department scratching their heads.

If your pet iguana is missing from its terrarium and you’re starting to wonder if it’s out forging a solo career in reptile modeling, worry no more. The local authorities have your green escape artist, and he or she is safe, probably a bit puzzled, but definitely off the streets.

The Absecon Police Department, adding “exotic animal handler” to their list of special skills, is inviting the rogue iguana’s owner to come forward. Don’t forget your iguana’s baby photos for identification purposes. Give them a ring at (609) 641-0667 to claim your scaly friend.

While we can’t confirm the iguana was out seeking fame or simply hunting for a good leafy snack, it’s safe to say this little reptile’s escapade is the talk of the town.
